The 6th ICTAFF will be held online on 4 November 2026, hosted by the Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University,
Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The 6th International Conference on Tropical Agrifood, Feed
and Fuel (ICTAFF 2026) is a premier international conference organized
by the Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University, Indonesia. Since its
inaugural event in 2018, ICTAFF has brought together researchers, academics,
policymakers, industry professionals, and development practitioners to exchange
scientific knowledge, share innovative research, and strengthen global
collaboration in tropical agriculture.
Under the theme "Regenerative
Tropical Agriculture: Innovating for Food Security, Sustainability, and Farmer
Prosperity," the conference highlights regenerative approaches as
a pathway to restoring ecosystems, enhancing agricultural productivity,
strengthening climate resilience, and improving the livelihoods of farming
communities. ICTAFF 2026 provides an international forum for interdisciplinary
dialogue on the future of sustainable agrifood systems in tropical regions.
Building on the success of the
previous five conferences, ICTAFF 2026 will feature internationally recognized
keynote speakers, invited experts, parallel scientific sessions, poster
presentations, and academic networking opportunities. The conference welcomes
contributions across six thematic areas, including regenerative agroecosystems,
smart tropical agriculture, inclusive agribusiness, food technology and
circular bioeconomy, livestock and biosciences, and post-mining land
restoration. Through scientific exchange and international collaboration,
ICTAFF 2026 seeks to generate innovative solutions that contribute to global
food security, environmental sustainability, and farmer prosperity.
